    The Swift Current Karate Club is a very welcoming place which introduces individuals to traditional Wado Ryu Karate, physical fitness, and dedication. The instructor, Sensei Guthrie, Is a very skilled and patient teacher with many years of experience. Whether for kids, beginner adults, or individuals with prior martial arts backgrounds, sensei Guthrie has the tools to help you achieve whenever your personal goals may be. The large training area is ideal for partner work, Individual work and so much more. There are also many opportunities to participate in extra activities as well, such as grading days (which are based on the hours of class time you put in), and tournaments (which is a great way to test yourself in a friendly/ competitive environment), not to mention meet some new people. Personally after many years at Swift Current Karate Club I would encourage anyone interested in trying martial arts to stop in and give it a try!
